In a move widely believed to be a Win-Win-Win situation Amazon has started a new packaging style which returns to the basics.  Out are impossible to open form fitting plastics, millions of wire ties and coated cardboards in is simple recycleable cardboard boxes.  This is really a smart move because the current packaging styles were designed for theft prevention and to display the item to consumers walking down store aisles neither of which apply to online vendors.  With this new move not only is it cheaper for the company and easier for the consumer to open but its also more environmentially conscious since its completely recyclable.
