As typical as the Times has been over the years this story does not surprise me the least. They constantly reveal national security secrets and cause headaches for our intelligence community. After all the media coverage lately about interrogation tactics used by the CIA in the War on Terror, you would think that the media would have some sort of respect for the few who have remained clean during these interrogations. I won't even say his name, but the Times revealed the name of a retired CIA interrogator who through peaceful means gathered infromation from one of the worst terrorists in our generation KSM (Khalid Sheikh Mohammed). Over extended periods of time this agent was able to extract tons of useful information from this guy who, among his accomplishments, took part in planning September 11th, the beheading of Daniel Pearl, and countless bombings accross the arab world over the past 30 years.
The Times makes me sick. Now this commendable agent has to live in fear the rest of his life hoping that Al Qaeda does not find him.Â
I thought this picture was appropriate, got it from MichelleMalkin.com.
