Film
Objectified is the latest documentary film by Gary Hustwit (The director of 'Helvetica'). The movie explores the objectification of design centric items such as Furniture and cool gadgets. Notable designers I knew of on the trailer was Braun's Deiter Rams and Apple's Jonathan Ives.
While you wait for Objectified to come out, I would recommend watch 'Helvetica' which goes around asking graphic designers and typefacers about the influence of the font Helevetica has to culture, trust me you don't have to have a degree in design to enjoy this film, its very interesting and funny at times, come on they talking about a font.
BMW has collaborated with South African Artist, Robin Rhode, to create "Expression of Joy." I believe the images and video speak for themselves, but I have added some links below for some long ass articles about the intent and technique actually I couldn't go pass the 1st paragraph so I am guessing that's what it was about.
After the Jump All the Cool IMAGES
I am predicting 2009 being the year of the Bro-mance (Man dates, no homo).
This is the next edition to Jude Apatow produced flicks. Starring Paul Rudd and Jason Segel plus co-starring SNL's Andy Samberg and the incredibly hot Rashida Jones.

His paintings took the art world by storm in the 1980s and then Julian Schnabel reinvented himself as a film director to more kudos. Morley Safer profiles this titan of art and film.
I recently watched all the movies he directed so this was a pleasure to watch.
This is kind of weird, from me just coming back from a Mission trip in Haiti to seeing this video of people on their world mission to spread whoppers and big macs, mmmm. HAHAHa it is still a really creative and interesting mini documentary made by Crispin + Porter (AD Agency behind all the new Microsoft ads.)

I am in love, this video looks awesome and the music is great. It brings to life the party photography I like so much from photographers like Cobrasnake.
