Another great true Hip Hop Story directed by D-Nice

I am liking this, starting the week with a hip hop music video might become a CR tradition, Remember I said Hip Hop not Rap.
I am not familiar with Donny, but this cat is raw and Statik Selektah on this beat, he is ridiculous. This is off Minute After Midnight.

This is the latest artist to hit my radar, I remember earlier this year seeing a video for Blu's group Johnson and Jonson. After listening to his mixtape (which is featured below) the tracks are amazing, this is one of my top picks on artists for 09'.
Download Blu - Drop The E Mixtape (Zshare)
Keep up with Blu via his MySpace
Get his latest collaborated Album, Johnson and Jonson.
Bonus: Johnson & Jonson - La La Land f. Be Young (Zshare) if you got to do anything listen to this track, it is only on the Japanese release of their album.
This is the latest unreleased Kanye track to surface on the net. Flute Flow was off DJ Fletch’s 2 disc Mixtape, “The Glory pt.2”, which can be found here.
note: I haven’t listened to the full mixtape yet, but this track is fire, and if you are tired of the autotuned version of Kanye, then this track is for you.

For D-Nice’s True Hip-Hop Stories.
If you are not familiar with Classic Hip-hop such as the Lords of Underground, this is a nice breakdown of mentality of rappers back in the day. He harped on a issue I was thinking about the other day, the maturity in hip hop so that the art form can be adapted to older listeners that used to listen to hip hop when they were younger in the 80s.

After the JUMP Watch/Listen to Lord of the Underground - The Funky Child
Apparently The Homeless G-Funk BeatBoxer is Gangsta Red, and this is his acapella version of his verse on Goldie Loc's "Im Ah Tell Yo Mama."
You can listen to the Studio version via Youtube (The studio version is sh*tty compared to the rawness of the street acappella, because the beat is blah)

Always a good interview, when Chelsea is talking to a Rapper.

Directed by the Malloy Brothers I was definitely excited to see NERD's latest music video, especially with the "Behind of the Scenes" teaser they leaked out earlier this week. The video features cameo by DC skateboarder, Rob Dyrdek. Nobody Ever Really Dies via LimitedHype (+ via Hypebeast but they don't like embeds) |
Here is Charles Hamilton's latest track to been turned Music Video. If you Entourgae fans are wondering where you heard this before, don't look farther then your favorite Sunday night show.

I am all about Star Trak / The Neptunes / and NERD, so its cool to see behind the scenes of their upcoming music video, "Sooner or Later," which is a really hot track.
