President-Elect Barack Obama is vacationing in Hawaii one last time before his world ends and he ages overnight. 

 

Ok.  You don't have to like him but you've got to give him credit.  He is probably the fittest looking President we've ever had.  Excluding FDR of course.  I heard he had abs of steel despite the wheelchair.  (Is that appropriate?  Eh, I don't really care.)

  

While on the surface Obama's most recent rumored appointee, Eric Holden, seems to be not too surprising of a pick he could implicate serious trouble for blogs like Certified Random in the near future.  A little digging found that Holden's most immediate response to the horrific Colombine shootings was to call for what he calls, "reasonable limits on free speech," on the internet.  In my opinion the concept of any limitations on free speech as being "reasonable" is an alarming viewpoint to be coming from an attorney general.  Listen to the Audio yourself here.

Same as Andrew and Jim I want to slow down completely on the political posts, but after talking to Andrew earlier today about last night's South Park episode and what he had to go through when driving back home on Election Night.  I couldn't help posting this videotapped by Jay Smooth viaNahRight

Ok, like Andrew, this will probably be my last political post for a while but I had to put this up.  This guy is clearly one of the worst people in the Democratic Party.  He wants to remove Sen. Joe Lieberman, an independant who caucuses with the Democrats ever since he left the party, for supporting John McCain for President.  He said, "While I understand that Sen. Lieberman has voted with Democrats a majority of the time, his comments and actions have raised serious concerns among many in our caucus." This is ridiculous.  He is going to remove him as PUNISHMENT?  Shouldn't he be removed for something like not performing his duties or for being unqualified to hold the position?  Lieberman is extremely qualified to hold the position.  I mean really.  This guy is something.  I will stand with President Obama just like the next guy, but I cannot stand for this guy.  We are looking at Reid, Pelosi, and Obama to run this country?  You have to be kidding me.
