Starring Shoreh Aghdashloo, this movie is a true story about a woman in Iran in the 1980's, who was stoned to death in her town so her husband could pursue another marriage with a younger woman.  Shoreh was in House of Sand and Fog and 24 (season 4).  Opening in select theatres, check the website, TheStoning, to look for a theatre near you.
